For some reason, I just had this memory come back to me - and I thought I'd share it with all of you. It makes me laugh. :)
When I was pregnant with Jack, my OB/GYN gave me the name of the lactation consultant at the hospital. When he told me her name, it took everything in me not to burst out laughing. He reassured me that it wasn't a joke. Her name???

NO! That was not her name?!? Seriously?!? The only reason I can think of for a lactation consultant to have that name is that she might have deliberately changed it TO that?! I sorta love it, to tell the truth.
And aren't lactation consultants the best? Mine saved my breastfeeding, I think. One day I'd love to upskill in infant feeding so I can work with lactation consultants. Speech pathologists sometimes do that, and it sounds awesome.
